This beautiful Lake is called « Lagoa do Fogo » ( The Fire Lake) and it's located at the center of São Miguel island.
This picture was taken a few days ago and we can see how beautiful it is when the sun is going down in a pure winter day .
In this place there's nothing else than the sound of the birds and this magnificent view.
This lake has it's origin on the last volcano that occured on the 16th century .
If we take a good look at it, we can see that the lake is surrounded by a crown of mountains !
For those who loves to do walkings, here's a good suggestion .
I have made it myself and all I can say is that you can't miss it!
